Building a more inclusive and affirming Chatham County

PBO Pride Festival 2026 - October 17-18

PBO Pride 2026 is moving to the fall, with the festival taking place on October 17–18. Visit our Events page for more details about the Saturday Drag Show & Dance Party and Sunday Pride Festival!

We genuinely enjoyed celebrating with you throughout the month of June, including Yoga in the Garden, the Fundraiser at Vimala’s, the Pride Celebration Service at The Local Church, the Family-Friendly Movie Night and Pride Story Time at the Chatham Community Library, and the Pride tour of the Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge (among other fun events throughout Chatham County)!

And we have more planned in the months leading up to PBO Pride in October.

If you’re organizing an event, please let us know how Chatham Pride can support you. We believe there’s room for all of us to shine! We’re proud to celebrate in many ways, together.

Together, we work to foster a community where everyone is welcome and can access necessary resources and supports to live.

Our mission is to support equality, promote understanding, and empower individuals of all backgrounds within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, together. Through the creation of community connections and socialization, Chatham Pride is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and affirming Chatham County that celebrates diversity in sexual orientation, gender identity, and self-expression.

Chatham Pride is led by passionate volunteers committed to building a more inclusive and affirming Chatham County. We’re parents, teachers, students, faith leaders, business owners, and everything in between. Learn more about the people and organizations behind the nonprofit.

Because it takes a village.

Our power is our togetherness. From volunteering at events to serving on an advisory committee, helping plan new initiatives to spreading the word on social media, there are endless opportunities to engage with Chatham Pride. Learn more about the possibilities and help advance the mission.

Here, there, and everywhere.

“Chatham Pride is the happiest, safest, most accepted I have felt as a family since our daughter came out ten years ago. I have been praying for Chatham Pride for a long time!”
