EARLY VOTING CELEBRATION

We’re excited to invite you to Drag Me to the Polls, a nonpartisan civic engagement celebration happening Saturday, October 25 at 9:45 AM at The Plant (220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro). Start your weekend with drag performances, community connection, and civic pride! After a short program, we’ll shuttle guests to the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center for early voting (10:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Then, come back to The Plant for The Get Down, an all-day music and costume party from 12–8 PM, featuring live music, community fun, and great food and drinks available from The Plant’s local businesses.

Important Note: This is a municipal election, so only voters who live within the city limits of a Chatham County municipality can cast a ballot, but everyone is welcome to celebrate! Whether you’re voting or just joining for the joy, this day is for our whole community.

Event Highlights

• 9:45am: 3 fabulous drag performers: G-Clef, Thigh Fieri, and Franny Starlight (emcee)!

• Special guest speaker: Rev. Brent Levy

• 10:30am-3:30pm: Free shuttle to and from the polls

• 12pm-8pm: All day music and costume party at The Get Down

Note: The Plant has lawn space for standing or sitting and a few benches and chairs available. If you’d like guaranteed seating, feel free to bring a chair or blanket with you.
